Common questions
- How is this different from running jobs on a spreadsheet?
- A spreadsheet can hold the dates, but it can't connect them to the quote, the budget, the site diary and the client. SiteStride keeps every job's moving parts in one record, so a change on site updates the schedule, the costs and the client's view at the same time.
- Do my trades and site workers need a paid seat?
- No. Office users take a seat, but the trades, labourers and site staff who clock in, log time and read the program are unlimited — you're never penalised for getting everyone on the tools onto the job.
- Does it replace my estimating tool?
- It can. SiteStride has estimating and takeoffs built in, so a finished estimate converts straight into a job with a budget. If you'd rather keep your existing estimator, you can still import a quote and pick up from there.
- Can I get my data out if I leave?
