We do the import
Rate book, contacts, live jobs, budgets and schedules go in. You do nothing except answer the odd question.

Run one job in parallel
Pick a live job and run it in SiteStride alongside your current setup. No big-bang cutover, no risk.

Get the crew on
Site users, subbies and clients invited, voice control demoed on site, and your prestart and induction templates set.

Migration questions
- Is the migration really free?
- Yes. The import and the setup session are included at no charge in your first week, whether you are on the trial or already on a plan. We do it because builders who start with their own rate book and live jobs actually use the software.
- What file formats can you take?
- CSV and Excel are easiest, but we also take PDFs, Word documents, MS Project and Buildertrend/Buildxact-style exports. If it holds your pricing, contacts, jobs or program, send it and we will tell you what we can map.
- How long does it take?
- Most builders are running a live job inside a week. A single trade contractor with a price list and a handful of quotes is usually done in a day or two.
- Do we have to stop using our current system?
- No. We deliberately run one live job in parallel first so you can compare the two before you commit. Plenty of builders keep their old system read-only for a month.
- Who can see our data during the migration?
- Only the SiteStride team member doing your import, and only for as long as it takes. Everything sits in your own workspace with role-based access from day one — details on our security page.
